I have been thinking of a Marapets debate for a while on this forum...if it isn't a banned topic.

Well, Marapets is copying both Subeta AND Neopets, considering I play Subeta and Neopets. I wonder if the creator of Marapets uses Neopets at all.

But the avatars are ugly, pointless ads, (Zac Efron as a sponsor person thingie...ewwww...) and even a pet called the "Yuni."
There is a pet on Neo called the "Uni". So where is the sense in copying Neo?

I'd just like to finish debating on Marapets for once and for all!!!

Evry petsite copies every other petsite.
It's rather sad.
Look at some pets on Subeta, they copied a few from Neopets ;o
(and they even bought into stupid memes and had a longcat pet once)

The only petsite I've ever looked at that I haven't seen that much of a similarity is Virtupets. The site still needs work though.

You mean Virpets (or is it Verpets?)?
Virtupets is a Neopian world (and a registered domain that forwards to neopets.com)

I actually think Marapets was there before Subeta.
At least, I had an account there YEARS ago, like, when I was about 12...
But does it matter whether it is copying it or not?
I mean, really, if you don't like it, you don't have to have anything to do with it.
